Job Description
We are seeking a Research Assistant with experience in technical data entry and laboratory operations. The role involves performing technical activities as directed by study protocols, ensuring thorough documentation throughout studies, and conducting data entry upon study completion. This position also requires managing equipment and supplies necessary for conducting studies, ensuring all maintenance and calibration procedures are performed and documented accurately.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical activities as directed by study protocols.
- Ensure documentation is complete throughout studies.
- Conduct data entry at the completion of studies.
- Manage equipment and supplies necessary for conducting studies.
- Perform maintenance and calibration procedures and document them in the database.
- Process samples according to standard procedures.
Essential Skills
Ability to read, understand, and execute study protocols and SOPs.Work well in a team environment.Detail-oriented with the ability to follow standard laboratory operating procedures.Ability to work with minimal supervision on routine and non-routine tasks.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Organized, analytical, and flexible to adjust to changing priorities.Skills & Qualifications
Associate's degree with laboratory experience or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or Biology.Experience in a lab environment.Familiarity with equipment and documentation related to biological and chemical laboratory operations.Experience following SOPs and performing data entry.GLP experience / understanding is a plus.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 / hr.
