Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist specializing in hospital inpatient settings, working within a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate dispensing of medications and providing expert pharmaceutical care to inpatients.

Location : Richland Center, WI

Schedule :

  • Hours vary between 6 : 30 AM and 5 : 00 PM
  • Rotating weekends required

Key Responsibilities :

  • Accurately dispense prescribed medications to hospital inpatients
  • Review and interpret physician orders for therapeutic appropriateness
  • Monitor patient drug therapies and provide clinical interventions when necessary
  • Maintain pliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
  • Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and medication management
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outes

    • Qualifications & Experience :

  • Licensed Pharmacist with experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings
  • Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication safety standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends on a rotating basis
  • Excellent munication and problem-solving skills
