Job Description

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within financial institution locations, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind. You will conduct routine patrols, interact professionally with staff and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Tue 10 : 30 PM - 06 : 30 AM

Fri 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Sat 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Sun 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and check for any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual situations according to site protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and / or vendors while representing Allied Universal at the location.
  • Assist with access control procedures and provide directions or information to visitors as required.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
