Managers and MITs play a key leadership role, expected to Live The Pledge and deliver WOW! Customer Service while executing store operations with excellence. Under the Store Manager’s guidance, MITs lead by example, demonstrating initiative and strong leadership. Through operational oversight and team development, store management supports AutoZone’s mission of providing trusted automotive solutions.  \n

\n The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a transitional role designed to prepare you for promotion into a Retail Store Management position. With a focus on leadership training, customer service excellence, and operational expertise, you’ll receive hands-on assignments and structured learning opportunities. Within 8-12 weeks, you could progress into management—depending on your prior experience and performance. \n

\n\n What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 Year : 1-2 years of prior experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
• Flexible Schedule : Full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

MITs must demonstrate consistent progression throughout the training program to be considered for management openings. Please note that promotion is performance-based and subject to management availability.
