Systems Engineer III-TS / SCI / FSP

Job Description

Cleared Staffing Solutions is hiring a Systems Engineer III to support our client on Fort Meade in Maryland. This position does require an Active TS / SCI / FSP.

This Systems Engineer 3 must have a strong background in Linux engineering, VMWare, administration and troubleshooting and the ability to work both as part of a team as well as independently (leadership & self-motivated).

Requirements

Position Specific Requirements :

1) Linux systems administration experience - must be comfortable with command line,

troubleshooting

2) Windows Server

3) Virtualization - VMWare

4) Puppet Experience, or able to learn quickly

5) SSP Support - scanning, patching, keeping documentation up to date and support ATO

activities.

6) RF Signals background

Desired Skills :

1) Linux systems (CentOS7) engineering / administration

2) Strong VMWare background

3) System integration / administration experience

4) Ability to work independently / self-motivated

5) Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, etc.)

6) RF Signals

7) Puppet, Ansible scripting

Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and

complexity is required.

Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering

Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university

is required.

Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
