Lab Technician - DS

Computer literate in Microsoft Office products - word, excel and powerpoint.

• Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols, make good observations, pay attention to details, and record detailed notes / data
• Ability to communicate well in spoken and written English- Comfortable and able to work with chemicals while following safe laboratory practices / protocols.
• The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical field

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Chemist, the Technician will be expected to perform the following functions with a high level of initiative and independence :

Formulation and synthesis of polymers

Associate, STEM Field, Required

Bachelor, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, Required
