Job descriptionMonday-Thursday 8 : 00 am-4 : 30 pm, Friday 8 : 00 am-12 : 00 pm Option for a 4-day work week Call : 10 days / month, including 1 weekend; additional call compensated Level III ER - phone consults typical, trauma cases transferred Guaranteed salary with RVU bonus structure $50,000 sign-on bonus $10,000 annual quality bonus 30 days PTO + 5 CME days with $3,000 allowance Full benefits package : malpractice with tail, health, dental, vision, and retirement with match Located in northeastern Alabama, in the foothills of the Appalachians Affordable cost of living with safe, family-friendly neighborhoods and quality schools Outdoor recreation nearby : hiking, fishing, and lake activities Easy access to Huntsville and Chattanooga, with regional airports for convenient travel
This is an opportunity to establish yourself as the go-to Urologist in a community that has been waiting for local access to care. With a hospital-employed model, strong referral network, and early Friday finishes, you'll have both the support and the lifestyle balance you've been looking for.
Practice Overview
- Solo, hospital-employed practice with dedicated support staff (RNs, MA, receptionist)
- Clinic located next to the hospital with 3 exam rooms and Athena EMR
- Access to 5 hospital ORs with priority scheduling (no robotics required)
- Referral base includes hospital-employed physicians, OB / GYN group, and multiple private practices serving a draw area of 70K-110K
