Role and responsibilities
The Electrical Design Engineer will report directly to the E&I Manager, alongside the Operations Director. They will work with the Projects Team to develop and produce electrical schematic drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for technical design and controlling projectsMeeting customer requirements within agreed timescales and acceptable cost parameters.Working with customers and to develop a good working relationship with ClientsResponsible for producing drawing packages including panel design and control circuitry ensuring compliance in the development of assigned projects with all relevant specifications, standards, and safety regulationsWorking with other departments and provide technical support and assistance to sales, manufacturing, and commissioning phasesDesign systems to industry and particular specifications incorporating company standards and customer requirements, including all design calculations.Documentation produced
Production of electrical, control and instrumentation design documentation and drawings including :Single line diagrams
Load schedulesBlock Cable diagramsControl philosophiesInstrument schedulesControl system & communications block diagramsQualifications and Skills
HNC in Electrical EngineeringFull UK Driving LicenseExperience within AutoCAD 2D and 3DStrong Understanding of P&ID's & Schematic DrawingsExperience of working on PLC SystemsATEX Knowledge would be desiredHow to Apply
