Ocular Oncologist / Retina Specialist
An exceptional full-time physician is sought to join Colorado Retina Associates (CRA), a nationally recognized fifteen physician retina practice based in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible, with fellowship training in ocular oncology and preferably vitreoretinal surgery, if not, medical retina fellowship completion is a must.
In addition to joining the medical, surgical, and research retina services, this partnership-track new physician will immediately inherit an established retina and oncology patient base along with existing referral sources.
Colorado Retina’s oncology service is a tertiary referral center for adult patients with intraocular neoplasms in Colorado and surrounding states. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound clinical judgement, ethical decision-making, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate as a team for highly complex cases. Candidate must be motivated to contribute to practice-wide growth.
Established in 2006, CRA is proud to be the largest retina practice in the Rocky Mountain region with service locations throughout Denver Metro. Our practice features a robust clinical research department, state-of-the-art equipment, integrated outpatient surgical centers, and extensive clinical and administrative support allowing associate physicians to grow a clinic at a rapid pace. Our custom LEAN designed clinics are built for efficiency to maximize patient results and satisfaction. CRA is a premier practice of Retina Consultants of America.
Perks include :
Compensation : Based on experience and sub-specialty training. Base salary range $100k-$350k, plus additional bonuses, productivity-based compensation structure, and profit-share units.
Qualifications : Requires a current, valid MD license in Colorado, and completion of an accredited residency program. Must be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Knowledge and Skills : Strong clinical and patient assessment skills. Detail-oriented and meticulous in all aspects of work. Requires excellent organizational skills and strong communication and patient relations skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with employees at all levels of the organization is essential. Demonstrated innovation, initiative, and creative problem-solving skills are imperative. Must be proactive and detail-oriented. The ability to work well independently and multi-task is critical. The ability to plan and organize technical work and to adapt to a changing work environment is critical. Must be able to assess and develop work tasks and systems in order to optimize clinic performance.
