Ecology Project International (EPI) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to addressing critical conservation issues through field-based partnerships between local experts and high school students. We engage adolescent youth from local communities and youth and teachers from around the world in applied hands-on science and conservation as they learn about and help protect threatened species and habitats. Through EPIs programs in five countries throughout the U.S. and Latin America, participants are inspired and empowered to engage in conservation efforts at home and worldwide to become the next generation of conservation leaders. Job summary
EPI is seeking a highly creative and organized Digital Marketing & Design Coordinator to support and grow our online presence, brand consistency, and strategic communications. This role plays a central part in connecting audiences to our mission through high-quality content, digital design, and data-driven strategy.
Youll work collaboratively across departments and regions to create engaging visuals, coordinate content creation, manage social media channels, support advertising and email campaigns, and analyze performance metrics to inform future efforts
Key responsibilities and duties
Content Creation & Graphic Design
- Design and develop compelling digital content for multiple platforms (social media, email, web, etc.)
- Create visuals that align with EPIs brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Work with regional teams to adapt content for local audiences
Social Media Management
Plan, create, and publish engaging content across EPIs social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok)Work with the broader communications team to maintain a unified and strategic presenceMonitor community engagement and respond as neededOnline Advertising (Shared Responsibility)
Support the implementation of online advertising campaigns across platforms including META (Facebook / Instagram), Google Ads, LinkedIn, and TikTokAssist in tracking, optimizing, and reporting on ad performance metricsContribute to budget allocation strategies and ad creative developmentAnalytics & Reporting
Generate monthly reports on digital performance : website traffic, ad metrics, social media engagement, email performanceUse tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Insights, and LinkedIn Analytics to guide decisionsPresent key insights and recommend improvements to enhance reach and impactDatabase Use & Support
Support the organizations CRM (Salesforce) for audience segmentation, campaign targeting, and lead trackingEnsure consistency, quality, and integration of marketing data across platformsAssist with list management, syncing tools (e.g., Mailchimp and Salesforce), and automation flowsEmail Marketing (Shared Responsibility)
Build and schedule email campaigns in Mailchimp for program recruitment, donor engagement, and internal communicationCollaborate on copywriting, A / B testing, and segmentation strategiesHelp maintain email templates and brand alignmentRequired qualifications and skills
Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field2+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing and content designProven ability to manage social media and create visually engaging contentExperience with Google Ads, Facebook / Instagram Ads, and Google AnalyticsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or CanvaKnowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp)CRM familiarity (Salesforce preferred)Commitment to EPIs mission and valuesDesired qualifications and skills

Schedule & Location

Local market-based starting salary range according to working location and DOE : US - $42,000 42,800. If the candidate is hired in Mexico, the internal salary ranges for those countries will apply, following our Compensation Policy. This position also provides a generous benefits package, including 32 days of paid time off per year, health insurance, a retirement plan, and funds for professional development.
