Pay : $58–$66 / hour (W2)
Contract : 6-month W2 contract, extension possible
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM
Hybrid : 2–3 days onsite per week — must be local to Wayzata, MN

Job Summary
Russell Tobin is seeking a Systems Product Manager to support a large Fortune 100 client. In this role, you will oversee product planning, backlog management, and delivery of technology solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, Scrum teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure high-quality product releases.
Responsibilities
Sprint & Release Planning
- Serve as the primary requirements and feature decision-maker on the Scrum team.
- Develop use cases, document requirements, and prepare user stories for sprints.
- Gather requirements and translate them into actionable backlog items and acceptance criteria.
- Build, refine, and prioritize the product backlog (user stories, defects, technical debt).
- Lead release planning, sprint planning, and story sequencing.
- Provide clarifications to support estimation, sprint execution, and objective setting.
Quality & Delivery
Monitor feature performance and address issues or questions.Contribute to test strategy, quality standards, and acceptance criteria.Conduct reviews with internal teams to ensure alignment and solution quality.Hold yourself and teams accountable for timely, cost-effective delivery.Stakeholder Communication
Gather stakeholder feedback and manage expectations across multiple groups.Build strong working relationships with development teams and internal partners.Support documentation needs and product communication.Influence cross-functional teams and leaders to drive product outcomes.Stay aware of changes in competitive and functional landscapes.Qualifications
Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in an Agile / Scrum environment.Strong skills in backlog management, user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition.Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.Additional Information
