Are you an experienced MD looking to give back, gain flexibility, or supplement your current practice? Southern Health Partners is looking for a Medical Director to join our correctional healthcare team at the Shelby County Jail .

This isn't your typical medical job - it's a chance to provide essential care, lead a team, and work with purpose... all in just one short day a week .

What You'll Do :

• Provide oversight and direction for on-site medical services delivered by our full-time nursing staff
• Review charts, prescribe medications, and see patients as needed during your weekly visit
• Support and supervise clinical staff, upholding high-quality standards of care
• Remain available to nursing staff for phone consults or direction (limited, low volume)
