Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Labor and Delivery Discipline : RN Start Date : 09 / 29 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Travel RN Labor and Delivery Unit Overview Antepartum Rooms : 4 Labor / High-Risk Rooms : 9 Triage Rooms : 3 No on-call required; will float to postpartum if needed. (Only postpartum float as needed—no other changes or additions.) Scope of Practice Fetal Heart Monitoring High-Risk Pregnancy Monitoring C-Sections Vaginal Deliveries Postpartum Role (if needed) Only assigned to postpartum if there are not enough Perinatal RNs. Can perform PP couplet care : caring for newborn and maternal needs together. Newborn role during delivery permissible (many can perform this), bonus if able to do more—but do not add additional responsibilities or interpretations.
