Experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, urology experience, neuro experience preferred for call coverage.

Description :

On-call information includes end-of-shift short call shifts until 7 PM and 9 PM, split among all RNs, averaging about one a week.

Friday and Saturday night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM are also split among all RNs, averaging 1-2 overnight shifts every 6 weeks.

No floating required.

The unit has ten operating rooms and is licensed for 330 beds.

There are approximately 50 staff members, including day shift RNs, surgical techs, and unit assistants, as well as a night shift call team.

Patient ratios are 1 : 1.

Type of equipment includes the DaVinci Robot, endovascular suite, neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pump.

The electronic medical record system used is Altera.

Typical procedures performed include orthopedic surgery, robotics, gynecology, urology, vascular, endovascular, and basic cranial / neuro surgeries.

Ideal candidates possess a strong work ethic and a collaborative attitude.

Assigned stay-late calls during the week and occasional Friday / Saturday overnight shifts may be required.

Holidays may be scheduled as needed.
