Compliance Manager - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Manager to join our property management team. This role ensures all operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies. You will lead compliance audits, develop policies, and train staff to maintain the highest standards of integrity and risk management across our real estate portfolio. The Compliance Manager will report to the General Counsel. This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with landlord tenant law, HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, Fair Housing, and other housing regulations.
• Conduct internal audits of tenant leases, property management agreements, broker licenses, insurance policies, and operational processes.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory agencies.
• Develop and implement compliance programs and internal controls.
• Train property management staff on compliance requirements and updates.
• Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely reporting.
