Estimator - High-End Interiors - Bethesda, MD

Our client is a Bethesda, MD-based general contractor known for delivering high-end, customized interiors across the hospitality, restaurant, and food & beverage sectors. Their projects are fast-moving, highly design-focused, and typically range from $1M to $10M, with durations of 2 to 6 months. Whether it's a flagship restaurant or a full-scale office transformation, they specialize in complex, detail-heavy environments where collaboration and hands-on problem solving are critical. The team is small, driven, and deeply committed to quality, accountability, and building truly unique spaces for equally unique clients.

The Estimator - High-End Interiors - Bethesda, MD will :

  • Lead full estimates from concept to completion, managing all aspects of bids
  • Write clear and detailed scopes of work
  • Develop and manage preconstruction budgets and schedules
  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and trade partners
  • Work across various project types including interiors, additions, and mid-rise builds
  • Prepare preconstruction agreements and assist with negotiations
  • Handle multiple projects in different stages; typically 3 bids / month

The Estimator - High-End Interiors - Bethesda, MD will have :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating
  • Strong familiarity with at least 8 of the 16 CSI divisions
  • Comfortable leading full bids independently for $1M-$5M projects
  • Experience with preconstruction documentation, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Ability to manage multiple active estimates with a high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
