Experience : Minimum of one year full-time experience preferred

License : ARDMS, ARRT and / or CCI credentials required

Certifications : AHA BLS required

Must-Have :

• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program in a primary cardiovascular specialty or JRCERT accredited educational program in a radiologic technology specialty.
• Knowledge of diagnostic radiography techniques.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and assess, treat, and care for patients of varying ages.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Computer skills.

Description :

Under general supervision, performs advanced level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations.

Circulates to other diagnostic radiology areas as assigned by the supervisor.

Recognized as an expert in the field, or participates in training to enhance knowledge and skills in specialized radiology areas or modalities.

Operates standard and portable radiology equipment to perform radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies.

Assists physicians and performs specialized imaging procedures.

Troubleshoots and resolves problems regarding equipment and / or film output.

Acts as a resource and preceptor for other Radiographers and / or students.

May participate in training programs to enhance radiology skills and become proficient in producing images in Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Special Procedures.

Maintains records, inventory, and equipment for the area of primary responsibility.

Performs other duties as assigned.
