Job Purpose : Corning's summer internship experience is rich with hands-on learning. You'll live, work, and experience the Charlotte community while building on-the-job skills. Working with a supervisor or mentor, you will gain work experience while interacting with key technologies, subject matter experts, and leaders. Our Market Development teams serve as subject matter experts, helping to solve customer challenges. They also define and prioritize new product development and work with Marketing to support the creation of customer facing materials.

Key Responsibilities :

Support projects and day-to-day work in a functional aspect of the commercial process

Prepare and present an executive level presentation on an assigned commercial project

Participate in experiential learning, mentoring relationships, and development opportunities

Minimum Requirements :

Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in the following fields : Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or other Telecom industry related degrees (Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, Optical Science & Engineering) Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or relevant Sciences

GPA of 3.0 or higher

Interested in commercial operations roles such as sales, marketing, sales support, customer service, field engineering, product marketing and / or product management functions

Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May-August 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later

Be willing to work at the posted job location

Proficiency with MS Office Tools

Attention to detail and bias towards action

This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly. Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
