Overview

EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution – Capital Edge team seeks a Senior Associate-Consultant to manage and execute operational and technology focused projects within a fast-paced, advisory environment. The role supports transactions and transformations across multiple industries, including pre-deal and post-deal engagements, with a focus on strategy, operations, and technology implementation.

Location

Locations include Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, McLean, New York, Hoboken, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle. Travel may be required.

Your Opportunity

EY-Parthenon's Edge platform combines transformative strategy, transactions and corporate finance to deliver practical value. You will work with CEOs, Boards, Private Equity and Governments, leveraging EY's full range of services and AI-powered technology to shape client futures with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute operational and technology-focused projects within the Edge platform team.
  • Support client service teams by implementing technology to deliver strategies for transactions and transformations.
  • Contribute to pre-deal (e.g., operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (e.g., integration planning, tracking) engagements.
  • Develop experience across a range of engagement types and maintain a commercial mindset for consulting projects.

Skills And Attributes For Success

  • Technology : Hands-on familiarity with cloud, web and mobile technologies, APIs and AI. Experience with Microsoft Azure SQL, BI platforms (Power BI, etc.) and AI agents.
  • Project Management : Coordinate implementation and customization of the Edge Platform; collaborate with clients and EY Parthenon stakeholders to deliver project success.
  • Business & Technical Minded : Translate abstract business requirements into technical user stories and measurable success criteria; deliver in short sprints.
  • Change Management & Communication : Lead adoption, train users and enable clients and practices.
  • Business Development : Support pursuits and project expansion; identify automation opportunities for clients and EY Parthenon teams.
  • Relationship Building : Advise on leading practices and capabilities of the Edge platform at scale across industries.
  • Innovative Mindset : Identify product and service expansion opportunities and contribute to the Edge product roadmap.
  • Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with ~18 months of related work experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into insights.
  • Experience training and onboarding users with technology to drive adoption.
  • Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
  • Ability to assess technology, operations or manufacturing infrastructure in detail.
  • Ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration / divestiture challenges.
  • Strong prioritization and adaptability to new challenges.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills; ability to build long-lasting relationships.
  • Understanding of available technologies and how to apply them to solve business problems.
  • Residence in or commutable distance to the office location.
  • Willingness to travel and work nonstandard hours when necessary.
  • Ideal Qualifications

  • Proven record in mergers or acquisitions roles.
  • Experience in a large professional services organization.
  • Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of leveraging AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

  • Comprehensive compensation and benefits : base salary range $130,000–$185,000, with additional benefits through Total Rewards (medical / dental, pension, 401(k), PTO, etc.).
