CLP Engineering (CLPE) is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our corporate engineering team. Our Structural Engineers support infrastructure projects : substations, transmission lines, and distribution systems for our clients across the country.

CLPE offers a wide range of power system engineering services to investor-owned, municipal, cooperative, government, industrial, and commercial customers.\

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Develop detailed project plans, designs, and cost estimates for power systems infrastructure projects.
• Analyze project requirements and technical specifications. Review design and construction plans and provide recommendations to improve project feasibility, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, and ensure timely completion of projects within budget and on schedule.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality control checks to ensure that projects meet design and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that all documentation and reports are accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with other engineers, planners, and stakeholders to identify and evaluate potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Coordinate with other departments, project teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, materials, and methods in the power systems infrastructure field. Make recommendations on new approaches to improve project outcomes.
