We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist with an active, unrestricted Nevada pharmacist license to support our client’s community pharmacy operations. Job Responsibilities :
Perform all duties related to the fulfillment and dispensing of prescription orders, including unit doses, prescription medications, and related supplies in compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.Process, pack, and verify outgoing pharmacy orders to ensure accuracy of medication, supplies, and patient education materials.Conduct prescription interpretation, input, and verification using pharmacy systems to ensure accurate order processing.Prepare and scan documents, verify member and patient data, and resolve any rejected claims.Contact patients to validate data, request payment information, and establish order priority.Perform consultations and patient counseling regarding medication usage, side effects, and adherence.Maintain compliance with inventory management, including drug / supply ordering, proper storage, refrigeration of perishable products, and calibration of dispensing equipment.Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, pharmacy law, and regulatory guidelines.Stand for extended periods and wear a medical mask throughout the shift as required.
Minimum Requirements :
Active, unrestricted Nevada Pharmacist license required.PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.1+ years of experience in community or retail pharmacy strongly preferred.Excellent communication and patient consultation skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in dispensing and documentation.Proficiency with pharmacy systems, electronic health records, and claim resolution processes.Reliable, professional, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
