Computer Operator

An employer is looking for a Computer Operator for a large retail client in the Rock Hill, SC area. The ideal resource will have a minimum of three years of experience as a Computer Operator. This resource will be responsible for the administration and oversight of the 24 / 7 batch processing schedule. This resource will maintain production job schedules in the BMC Control-M job scheduling system and identify failures using documented processes and troubleshoot or escalate accordingly.

Skills and Requirements :

• Minimum of three years as a Computer Operator
• Minimum three years of experience with Job / Batch scheduling applications, preferably BMC Control-M
• Minimum of one to three years in a data center operations center and NOC environment
• Shift is Sun Wed 11 p 9 a (10 hr shifts)
• Experience with Control-M, CA, CA 7 (batch tools)
• Understanding of Iron Mountain's vaulting system
