Job Type : Full-Time, Office-Based

Compensation : $125,000–$150,000 / year + bonus structure based on company growth

About the Role :

We're seeking an experienced Commercial Estimating Operations Manager to lead our estimating team and drive business growth. This role combines hands-on estimating with team coordination and client-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and coordinate all internal and external estimating efforts
  • Conduct detailed blueprint takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff and Bluebeam
  • Create accurate estimates across multiple divisions : architectural, utilities, HVAC, etc.
  • Reconcile estimates with architects, owners, and CMs in multi-party meetings
  • Build long-term relationships with top commercial architectural firms
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, especially during reconciliation meetings
  • Set estimate schedules and manage workflow for the estimating team
  • Perform hands-on estimating work for about 40-50% of your time

Qualifications :

  • 15+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating
  • Proven experience managing the entire estimating process, including high-pressure bid days
  • Strong communication skills for daily interactions with architects and clients
  • Proficiency in estimating across multiple construction divisions
  • Ability to manage and grow the business beyond its current ~$1 million annual revenue
  • Willingness to commit long-term, with potential for growth as the company expands

    • Work Environment :

  • Office-based position with occasional flexibility for remote work (e.g., Fridays from home - after 6 months)
  • Typical commute of 30-45 minutes in the Atlanta area
  • Collaborative team environment with potential for leadership in future company expansion
