Summary :
Tracking and disbursement of taxes and insurance for escrowed loans. Monitor weekly reporting from 3rd party vendor for non-escrowed loans. Performs Escrow Analysis. Handles force placed insurance
Responsibilities
Disburse and distribute escrow checks daily, weekly, etc, for escrow disbursements.Maintenance system for escrowed loans, expiring collateral, flood & hazard insuranceReceives, reviews, scans and uploads insurance policies received daily via Synergy or 3rd party insurance tracking companyWork weekly mortgage reports (Hazard and Flood) from 3rd party vendor insurance tracking companyTrack, monitor, and follow up on insurance cancellation noticesReview insurance invoices and update accounts, if neededWork and monitor weekly reports assigned.Process and monitor force placed insuranceParticipate in preparing monthly escrow analysis and handling and related questions.Ordering of department suppliesAnswers telephone calls and assists loan officers with routine inquiries regarding insurance, escrow analysis, and disbursements.Perform a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures to assist in backup capacityKeep informed of current loan practices and proceduresAid loan officers as neededUnderstand your role as defined by the three lines of defense to maintain a compliance culture that includes risk management processesOther duties as assigned by the supervisorUniversal Department Responsibilities :
Work weekly commercial reports (Hazard and Flood) from 3rd party vendor insurance tracking companyAssist with loan payoff requestsMailing of all loan notices to customersProcessing of payments via online or mailBookingQuality controlCross train in other loan administration and servicing functions as assignedWillingly performs other duties and projects as assigned.Requirements
Combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and minimum one-year customer service-related work experience. Experience in banking and / or loan processing is preferred.Skill in areas related to computer operation / use - personal computers and software, including strong working knowledge and demonstrated use of spreadsheet, word processing, Internet, and banking computer software (MS Word and Excel software experience is preferred); customer service - providing excellent customer service to both the internal and the external customer. Able to lift at least 15 pounds.Understand your role as defined by the three lines of defense to maintain a compliance culture that includes risk management processesAbility to pay attention to detail and to proofread documents accurately and make corrections; follow written and oral instructions.
