Duties : Shipping and Receiving Assistant
Ship shipments properly per each customer requirement including- labeling, documentation, packaging, shipment routing, BOL, etc.Ensure accuracy of all shipping documentationMaintain shipping verification form to ensure all packaging, labeling, and customer requirements are metEnsure drivers depart with appropriate paperwork due to customer requests and DOT regulationsReceive and label raw materials according to Raw Materials Receiving proceduresStore raw materials and finished goods according to FIFO proceduresLabel finished goods (QC Pass, QC Hold, Reject, etc.)Scan raw materials and finished goods into correct storage locationEnter receipt of goods daily via ChempaxScan raw material CoA’s dailyUtilize UPS for outgoing documents and packagesLoading and unloading of freight trucksLoading and unloading of empty containersAbility to Load and Unload tankers according to tank truck proceduresOperate truck scaleMaintain daily shipping and receiving logsSend e-mail about shipment issues at the beginning of each daySend e-mail shipping log at the end of each dayMaintain tank truck calendarKeep updated spreadsheet of finished goods and DNS locationsPerform client-specific duties as required- pre-labeling, post good issue, shipment routing, etc.Maintain warehouse housekeeping and utilize 5S in warehouse areasAll other duties assigned by Logistics ManagerStandard Work Hours :
8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00PM, Monday -Friday. Overtime as needed.

High School DiplomaPredictive Index AssessmentForklift Experience is RequiredHAZCOMPPEHAZWOPERAbility to use shipping and receiving modules in various systems (ERP, SAP, Chempax)Microsoft Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)Lifting Requirement : 50 lbs.Ability to climb ladders and stairs repeatedly
