Coverage Needed :

January (start Friday 5pm end Monday 7am) : 9th-12th, 16th-19th, 23rd-28th, 30th

February (start Friday 5pm end Monday 7am) : 2nd, 6th-9th, 13th-16th, 20th-23rd, 27th

March (start Friday 5pm end Monday 7am) : 2nd, 6th-9th, 13th-16th, 20th-23rd, 27th-30rd

April (start Friday 5pm end Monday 7am) : 3rd-6th, 10th-13th, 17th-20th, 24th-27th

May (start Friday 5pm end Monday 7am) : st-4th, 8th-11th, 15th-18th, 22nd-26th (end 29th

June (start Friday 5pm end Monday 7am) :

1st, 5th-8th, 12th-15th, 19th-22nd, 26th-29th

Shift Descriptions :

24-hour call, weekends

Requirements : Board certified

Must be licensed in Virginia

Flu vaccine required, COVID vaccine preferred

ERCP required, EUS preferred

Clean malpractice history

Procedures :

Esophageal Dilatation / Manometry

Esophageal Manometry Interpretation

Small Bowel Biopsy

Lower GI Endoscopy

Sigmoidoscopy

Colonoscopy

Liver Biopsy

Insertion / Management of Sengstaken / Blakemore Tube

Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

Upper GI Endoscopy : with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal, with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser), with Injection of Varices, with Banding of Varices, with ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic, with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

Assignment Details : EMR : Epic

Lab and x-ray onsite

On average 8 procedures per weekend

Estimated credentialing timeframe : 90 days
