Responsibilities Work in a mobile mammography unit and outpatient breast clinic settings Daily caseload ranges from 30 to 50 screening and diagnostic mammograms Uses Hologic Dimension mammography equipment Facility utilizes Epic for charting Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., with occasional Saturday work as needed Technologists may float between mobile assignments and physical clinic locations as required Travel time to work sites is compensated No on-call required Perform high-quality mammography following ACR and MQSA standards to ensure accurate physician interpretation Independently maintain quality control records and schedule equipment maintenance to meet DHEC and MQSA inspection requirements Collaborate with team members and leadership to uphold health and safety and minimize equipment downtime Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed to engage with diverse patient populations and promote health literacy Must be flexible, autonomous, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient / mobile environment Scrubs in any shade of pink or dark teal top and black bottoms are required Unit orientation provided at work site during standard hours All RTO requests must be included at the time of application; approval is based on facility need Travelers must live more than 60 miles from the facility unless approved as a local at a reduced rate First-time travelers are accepted Previous permanent or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams Requirements Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required Current ARRT (M), SCRQSA (M) SC state license, and BLS required Proficiency in operating Hologic Dimension equipment is a hard requirement Ability to perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms License required if applicable Experience with Epic preferred Must have SC license in hand prior to start; pending licenses not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-606612.
