Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist – X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT and BLS certifications, to work in a pediatric Level 1 trauma environment.
Responsibilities
Work in a pediatric teaching hospital X-Ray unitNight shift schedule : Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AMOn-call rotation included; must be able to report within 1 hour when called inFloating required to other pediatric imaging locations and buildings on the same campus as neededInitial orientation may be scheduled during daytime hoursPatient caseload variesEpic EMR is used; experience preferredTrauma Level 1 environmentTeal top and black bottoms required for scrubsResponsibilities include performing diagnostic X-ray procedures for pediatric patients in a Level 1 trauma settingWill provide imaging coverage across multiple pediatric locations, including during critical staffing needsFirst-time travelers will be consideredPrevious permanent or PRN staff must have a one-year separation before returning as a travelerAll requested time off must be declared at submission and is subject to facility approvalHoliday coverage is requiredLocals within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rateNight and weekend parking available for a one-time feeCompletion of facility modules is required prior to startAssignment during hurricane season may require participation in emergency response teamsRequirements
Minimum 1 year of radiology technologist experienceCurrent ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), and BLS (AHA) certifications requiredSouth Carolina license must be active before start; pending license not accepted for start but will be considered for applicationOR and C-arm experience required, O-arm experience preferredPediatric and trauma experience preferredRadiation badge required; must be provided by agencyLicense required if applicableBenefits
