Maintenance / Janitor (Unskilled)

The Maintenance / Janitor (Unskilled) position is responsible for performing janitorial / maintenance duties within the Oakland Arena-Alameda County Coliseum. Starting at $20.50 per hour.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance duties as assigned (vacuum, sweep, mop floors, clean / sanitation bathrooms, sinks, counter tops and refrigerators; dust and clean interior windowsills / windows and any other areas in need of cleaning).
• Empty trash cans, replace liners and clean receptacles; recycle as instructed. Use industrial chemical and equipment to clean a variety of surfaces.
• Finish all assigned work within allotted time and in a satisfactory manner. Responsible for notifying leads and / or supervisors of all cleaning tasks neglected. Leave all work areas clean and in order.
• Adhere to AEG policies and procedures including company wide sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with all ASM / OCJV / CalOSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to work irregular extended hours includes nights (graveyard shifts), weekends, and holidays.
