Assists in delivery of patient care under the direction of a RN.\n\n+ Patient Care Delivery\n\n+ Provides care for patients according to nursing standards, protocols, procedures, and evidence-based practices.\n\n+ Utilizes the nursing process.\n\n+ Assesses the patient.\n\n+ Assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.\n\n+ The Nurse Intern will not perform any procedures that require licensing by the State (i.e. passing medications, nursing diagnosis, admission assessment, may complete data collection.)\n\n+ Implements Patient Care\n\n+ Administers routine treatments.\n\n+ Information Processing and Documentation\n\n+ Communicates patient information.\n\n+ Documents information. Utilizes "OPIE" documentation process\n\n+ (N.I. can only document observation and interventions including physical assessments with RN / LPN review)\n\n+ Charges equipment and supplies.\n\n+ Care of Environment & Equipment\n\n+ Interpersonal Skills\n\n+ Communicates with other health team members, patients, and visitors.\n\n+ Utilizes good guest relations.\n\n+ Maintains adaptability.\n\n+ Participates as a unit team member.\n\n+ Reports problems.\n\n+ Demonstrates Service Excellence.\n\nWhat You Will Need : \n\n+ High school graduate; currently enrolled in an approved RN program (A.D., diploma, BSN).
