• Work every other weekend schedule
• Patient ratio of 1 : 5
• 16-hour NBO (nights, weekends, holidays) commitment
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Provide care for CHF, cardiac angiogram before and after care, ablation, pacemaker, TEE, cardioversion, and stroke patients
• Manage cardiac drips including Nitro, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nirdipine, Heparin, and Lidocaine with titration requirements
• Use Cerner PowerChart EMR system
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited time off requests between 11 / 26 / 25-11 / 30 / 25 and 12 / 23 / 25-1 / 2 / 26
• Minimum 2 years of stepdown experience required
• At least 1 travel contract completion required
• Required certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Iowa nursing license required
• Must be more than 50 miles from market
