Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Critical Care NP in Wisconsin!

About The Position

We are seeking a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin, starting Feb 16, 2026. This opportunity offers 12-hour shifts, either 7a-7p or 7p-7a, focused on critical care and ICU duties. Candidates must be licensed in Wisconsin and board certified in Critical Care Medicine.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide advanced critical care services within the ICU
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and complex patient cases
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care
  • Perform procedures and interventions within the scope of critical care practice
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all regulatory standards

    • Additional Information

  • Wisconsin NP license required
  • Board certification required : Critical Care Medicine (AANP or ANCC for FNP)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
  • Credentialing process may take up to 90 days; expedited or emergency credentialing available for candidates with clean backgrounds
