Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a driver at the Prince George's County Materials Recycling Facility located in Capitol Heights, MD. This position provides transport of processed solid waste from agency facilities and maintains equipment necessary for this purpose. Also provides transportation for operational support personnel.
Estimated Pay Range: $45,666.23 - $62,791.65
Benefits:
Minimum Requirements: Two years related/commercial driving experience. Possession of a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with fewer than five points is required. The class of license and any required endorsements (e.g., passenger, tanker) will depend on the facility assignment.
Preferred candidate will have commercial driving experience.
This position will remain open until filled.
This position is eligible for on-spot, contingent offers. Candidates who apply after an on-spot offer has been extended (including internal candidates) will not be considered unless the candidate who receives the on-spot, contingent offer does not complete the process to become an MES employee.
Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.
