Senior Process Development Engineer

We are partnering with a medical device manufacturer to hire a Senior Process Development Engineer who will provide technical leadership in the development, optimization, and validation of manufacturing processes. This role partners closely with customers and cross-functional teams to bring new products and processes from concept through production.

Location : Arden Hills, MN

Salary : 100-125k

What You'll Do

• Lead development and evaluation of new and improved manufacturing processes to improve yield, throughput, and manufacturability
• Translate customer, user, and patient needs into robust, scalable process solutions
• Drive process design, risk assessments (pFMEA / DFMEA), DOE, and capability studies
• Own process documentation, including manufacturing procedures, BOMs, and routers
• Lead verification and validation activities (IQ / OQ / PQ, MVP) and qualification planning
• Serve as technical lead on projects, supporting quoting, timelines, and resource planning
• Collaborate directly with customers and internal teams; lead process-focused customer meetings
• Mentor engineers and potentially lead small teams or projects
