Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in South Weymouth, MA. This critical care role requires strong clinical skills, quick thinking, and the ability to manage complex patient cases in a high-pressure hospital environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care to acutely ill and injured patients.
• Triage and prioritize patient care based on severity.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and coordinate treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety and accurate documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
• Respond to life-saving situations using advanced cardiac life support techniques.

Required Experience:

• Minimum years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Experience in fast-paced hospital or trauma settings

Nice-to-Have Experience:

• Previous travel RN or contract hospital staffing experience
• Familiarity with Massachusetts health systems

Required Skills:

• Emergency triage and acute patient care
• Crisis response and clinical prioritization
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (valid through start date and duration)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with EMR systems
• IV placement and cardiac monitoring
• Pediatric emergency care

Additional Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts RN license (required at submission and valid through assignment)
• COVID- vaccination required (documentation must be submitted)
• Certification(s) must not expire within days of the start date
