We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position offers flexibility with scheduling and is ideal for those looking to work on an as-needed basis.
Work Environment :
This position operates in a clinical healthcare environment.
Responsibilities :
Resident Care : Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.Mobility Assistance : Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.Vital Signs Monitoring : Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.Documentation : Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents' conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.Communication : Report any changes in residents' conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.Supportive Tasks : Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents' quality of life.Infection Control : Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.Team Collaboration : Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.Qualifications :
Experience : Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.Certifications : Current CNA certification in KS required.Benefits :
