Industry and what does the company do?   Manufacturing company based in Los Angeles is seeking a General Equipment Operator!

Job Title :   General Equipment Operator (3rd Shift 10 : 00 p.m. to 6 : 00 a.m.)

Location :   Vernon, CA

Pay :  $24.00 /   Job Class :  Temp-to-Hire

Summary :   Follow all Job Safe practices, Standard Operating Procedures and Quality requirements while operating equipment in the Extrusion operations that are necessary for the extrusion of the aluminum

Essential Functions :

  • Operates extrusion equipment, related handling equipment, stretcher, all saws and testing equipment
  • Reviews and follows all Standard Operating procedures for processes
  • Operates mobile equipment
  • Sample preparation
  • Packing extrusion
  • Loading trucks

Qualifications :

  • Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must pass Background Check and Drug Screen
  • Must demonstrate Basic Math Skills
  • Must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include : bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working overhead
