Business Systems Report Writer (ERP)

A major client of ours has a need for Business Systems Report Writer (ERP) for their Shelton, CT location. This is an onsite position. The position is a contract to hire, with conversion after 60-90 days.

Job Description

Business Systems Report Writer will play a critical role in providing business intelligence information. This position will support our enterprise operations by developing, modifying, and maintaining reports and dashboards within our ERP and Business systems. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, be detail-oriented, and passionate about transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This position reports to the Business Systems Manager.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards within the Epicor Kinetic ERP, and Business Systems leveraging native system report writers, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Business Intelligence tools.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective data solutions in response to user requests.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data presented in reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation and data integrity.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and tools to enhance business intelligence capabilities.
• Develop a system to document report specifications, data sources, and logic for future reference and auditing.
