As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) , you’ll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary care team that includes therapists, dietitians, and other mental health professionals. You’ll provide holistic medical care, focusing on restoring physical health, supporting emotional well-being, and empowering young women to develop healthy relationships with themselves and their bodies. You’ll also engage families in the treatment process, empowering them with education and support as they walk alongside their loved one’s recovery. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive health assessments and monitor medical stability for adolescent patients. Develop individualized care plans addressing both medical and behavioral health needs in collaboration with therapists, dieticians, and families. Manage medication for physical and behavioral health needs as appropriate Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to support long-term recovery. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, trauma-informed care. Provide education and counseling to patients and families about nutrition, emotional regulation, and healthy coping skills. Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development focused on adolescent well-being. Maintain detailed, timely, and compliant clinical documentation. Qualifications Minimum Requirements : Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice. Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Preferred Qualifications Experience working with adolescents or individuals with eating disorders. Strong interest in behavioral health, family support / family counseling, or integrative care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with adolescents and families. Experience in a residential or outpatient behavioral health setting. Skills & Attributes Empathy and understanding in working with sensitive and vulnerable populations. Holistic clinical judgment that considers both physical and emotional factors. Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication with teens and families, using a supportive and nonjudgmental approach.
