• Assist in promoting and maintaining optimal trauma care standards across the facility.
• Demonstrate professional competency in the nursing process while planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating trauma care for critically injured patients.
• Manage and maintain the trauma registry and ensure timely completion of Quality Improvement (QI) reports.
• Develop, implement, and oversee trauma-related educational programs for hospital personnel, covering all phases of trauma care and injury prevention.
• Monitor patient progress during hospitalization and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure best outcomes.
• Manage day-to-day operations of trauma services, including staffing, scheduling, and performance oversight.
• Participate in departmental budget planning, resource allocation, and financial management.
• Provide leadership in trauma program development, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with medical directors, administrators, and external agencies to ensure trauma program readiness and adherence to accreditation standards.
• Respond to emergency and crises as needed, maintaining readiness to assist in direct patient care and trauma procedures.
