Kitsap Mental Health Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Access Intake Clinician to join our Access Team. In this role, you will conduct mental health screenings, assessments, and treatment recommendations for adults and children, collaborating closely with their families or guardians. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring clients receive timely care, connecting them with necessary resources, and coordinating with internal teams and community partners to provide a seamless entry into KMHS services.

Primary Responsibilities :

Minimum Qualifications :

Intake Clinician I :

EDUCATION : Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, social services, or a mental health field.

EXPERIENCE : Experienced (five years of direct client care under the supervision of a master's level mental health professional with an active license).

LICENSURE : Certified Agency Affiliated Counselor (must be eligible for this license upon hire).

Intake Clinician II :

EDUCATION : Master's Degree in Psychology, social services, or a mental health field.

EXPERIENCE : Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience).

LICENSURE : Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor (must be eligible for one of these licenses upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications :

EXPERIENCE : Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS).

Business-rated insurance may be required if performing outreach duties.

LICENSURE : Full or Associate Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Independent Clinical Social Worker License.
