We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. In this role, you will oversee complex accounting functions, including consolidation, reporting, and budgeting activities, while identifying opportunities to enhance processes through automation. Responsibilities :

• Consolidate financial data for internal and external reports, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end disclosures.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting across subsidiaries.
• Analyze and review financial submissions from subsidiaries, providing assistance and guidance on accounting matters.
• Lead the implementation of automated processes to streamline existing accounting workflows.
• Conduct technical research and analysis to support compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Play a key role in the annual budgeting process, including preparing and reviewing budget forecasts.
• Perform detailed budget-to-actual analyses to identify variances and provide actionable insights.
• Manage lease accounting activities in accordance with applicable standards.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6-9 years of accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
• Experience with account and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with financial statement disclosures and technical accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information.
