Regional Solar Site Manager & ES I - Southcentral Region

This position will lead the operations and maintenance of multiple solar and storage sites in Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Louisiana. Under limited and general guidance, leaders in this position manage all aspects of business and operations while maintaining an injury-free workforce and achieving production and business targets. Leaders ensure all business activities are conducted following corporate policies and are in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal permits, codes, standards, and regulations. Leaders are expected to :

  • Collaborate with peers, stakeholders, central organizations support team, vendors, and OEMs for the furtherance of organizations goals
  • Ensure all safety, environmental, performance, and budget targets are met
  • Develop and grow the team / business
  • Oversee and approve procurement activities of the site
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

The Regional Manager I will possess :

  • Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills
  • Solid technical background and field services experience with strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complicated tasks and achieve flawless execution
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong business process management skills
  • Six Sigma skills or equivalent quality skills
  • Ability to travel ~50%
  • This job leads a team involved in operating multiple solar storage sites. Under limited direction, leaders in this role manage all aspects of site business and operations, achieving all production and business targets while maintaining an injury-free work site.

    Job duties and responsibilities include :

  • Ensuring compliance to all Power Generation Division (PGD) operational model processes
  • Leading by example and emulating the PGD shared values
  • Ensuring all business activities are conducted following corporate policies and are in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal permits, codes, standards, and regulations
  • Monitoring and controlling budget ensuring targets are met for their region
  • Overseeing and approving procurement activities of the site
  • Leading, managing, and developing the team within their region
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned
  • Required qualifications include :

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience
  • Experience : 7+ years
  • Leadership experience : 5+ years
  • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
  • Preferred qualifications include :

  • Bachelor's Degree
