Fiber Management Specialist

A company is looking for a Fiber Management Specialist to support the implementation and configuration of the 3-GIS application within the technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for internal and external users of the 3-GIS application

Implement best practices for data management and support engineering and construction teams with GIS data entry

Train users on the proper use of 3-GIS and conduct needs assessments to document solutions

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, or 10 years of proven experience

4-6 years of experience in telecommunications engineering and splicing, with hands-on knowledge of 3-GIS and Esri products

Experience with other Fiber Management / CAD applications such as Mapcom M4, CadTel, Autodesk, CrescentLink, or Vetro

Ability to comprehend network diagrams and use Microsoft Office software

Understanding of telecom and mapping techniques through knowledge of GIS / Fiber Management applications
