This position will assist the Controller and Sr Staff Accountant to allow them to provide added analysis to management. Key Specific Responsibilities :
- General Ledger
- Prepare account reconciliations
- Prepare and enter recurring entries during the period end close process
- Prepare and enter journal entries during the period end close process
- Assist in the period-end closing review
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations
- Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations to auditors
- Cost Accounting
- Review and adjust raw material standard costs based on recent invoices and trends
- Review and adjust item setups for proper accounting and reporting
- Review and correct changes to cost after cost rollups are complete
- Close and cost production work orders
Summary of Authority Granted To This Position :
This position has no direct reports.
Measurements of Performance :
Accuracy and timeliness of completing all assigned tasks.
Gradual and improved understanding of the companys systems and flow of transactions up to Financial Statement preparation.
