Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

HealthCare Support is currently interviewing for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographers to join a leading healthcare network in the Northern, CO region. Pay Details :

$38.72 - $58.08 hourly

Required Qualifications for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer :

Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program

Registered in one or more of the following :

RDMS (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)

RVT (Vascular Technologist)

RDCS (Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) via ARDMS

Certified in Sonography (S) via ARRT

Some locations require no experience

Daily Responsibilities for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer :

Perform and manage ultrasound imaging procedures : Review patient history and orders, educate patients, prepare and administer contrast media (within scope), position patients, operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, and ensure image quality through analysis and corrective actions

Maintain clinical accuracy and patient safety : Monitor and report patient condition changes, perform quality checks, and document and communicate findings in accordance with organizational and professional standards
