About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of providing life-changing spinal surgeries to underserved children worldwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the organization, including fundraising, program management, and partnership development. This role demands a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach, with a focus on both immediate program and fundraising execution and the long-term growth and sustainability of the organization. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, manage the annual budget, and ensure the organization's financial health and transparency. Key responsibilities also include overseeing the design and evaluation of mission programs, driving diversified fundraising strategies, and serving as the public ambassador to foster cross-cultural collaboration and credibility.
Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have 5-10+ years' of nonprofit or mission-driven leadership experience, with a proven track record of raising over $1M annually from diverse sources. A background in global health, humanitarian, or medical / surgical organizations is ideal. The role requires excellent cross-cultural communication skills, global fluency, and a willingness to travel. A clinical or public health background, familiarity with financial management tools, and experience in low-resource settings are preferred. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, results-oriented leader with strong relationship-building skills, and a deep commitment to the mission of the organization.
