Software Quality Engineer

We are currently seeking a Software Quality Engineer to support our customer in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as possess the following education and experience :

Duties :

Software Quality Assurance (AS9100 & AS9115)

• Review software lifecycle documentation (requirements, design, code, test, release) for compliance with AS9100, AS9115, DO‑178C / DO‑254 (as applicable), and customer specifications.
• Verify SQPs, SDPs, and SVPs conform to AS9115.
• Ensure bidirectional traceability per AS9115.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies as the quality representative.
• Assist in the development of company and program policies and process documents

Process Oversight and Compliance

Verification and Validation Support

Supplier and Subcontractor Oversight

Supplier and Subcontractor Audits (AS9115-Focused)

Assess compliance to AS9115 clause requirements including :

Risk Management

Reporting & Metrics

Required Experience :

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
