Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based CT scan department Night shifts available : 3x12hr (6 : 00pm–6 : 30am, Mon–Wed) or 4x10hr nights, to be discussed during interview Some weekend work may be required No on-call required Floating may be required to locations within a 60-mile radius as designated by the employer Uses Epic EMR; prior experience preferred Responsible for producing high-quality CT images and maintaining radiation safety per ALARA standards Prepare and position patients for exams and administer IV contrast as needed Document patient conditions, report unusual occurrences, and ensure smooth workflow Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of imaging equipment Engage in ongoing education and participate in clinical training and department quality initiatives Participate in flu vaccine compliance during flu season as required by policy Scrubs are required as dress code Requirements Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience required Current ARRT(R) with CT credential, ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T), CNMT, or state CT registry Current American Heart Association BLS certification required High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred License required if applicable Must not reside within 60 miles of the facility for traveler consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624305.
