OUR UNIT :
3400 is an 18 bed, medical surgical unit that provides care to general surgical patients. We specialize and focus on colorectal, bariatric, and gynecological surgeries with ostomy creations, NG tubes, gastric sleeves / bariatric procedures, wound vacs, and drains.
As part of our interdisciplinary care team, you will often directly interact with surgeons, surgical APPs, and CWOCNs. The skills and knowledge gained on this unit could translate to a surgical nursing position, such as pre-an, OR, PACU, or a wound care / ostomy track. Our unit provides care to many medical patients, preparing our staff to work in any med-surg or critical care environment.
